This report examines fabrication technologies for producing blown film, cast film, and bi-axially oriented films (e.g., BOPP, BOPET, and PLA). Technology trends and applications are also provided for these three fabrication processes. Cost estimates are presented to produce blown film (mono-, 3- and 7- layer), cast film (3-layer), BOPP, and BOPET from virgin resin material, at USGC, Western Europe, and China locations.
