Biorenewable Insights: Carbohydrate Feedstocks (2015 Program)

This report analyzes developments in carbohydrate feedstocks, such as corn, sugarcane, and other minor feedstocks. These feedstocks can be converted into a number of chemical and polymer products - with potential to improve the GHG footprint of processes (such as fermentation and catalytic technologies).  This study assesses the technical, commercial, and economic aspects of producing carbohydrate feedstocks, and investigates future capacities
