1,4-Butanediol/Tetrahydrofuran (BDO/THF) (2013 Program)
Commercial petrochemical and emerging bio-based process technologies are reviewed. Process economics have been developed for five petrochemical-based and two emerging bio-routes on a same scale, same location basis. Selected regional economic analyses (China, Germany, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, U.S.) have been developed. Regional market supply/demand is included.
