WEBINAR - How will PVC markets build on 2020?
Note, this Webinar was held on the 26th January - if you missed it Contact Us for further information.
How governments responded when the COVID-19 pandemic reached their own region had a big impact on demand for PVC; what industries were allowed to operate? What was essential? What was chosen to stop to limit the spread of the virus? Most countries lost significant demand in construction in the second quarter of the year that could not be made back up despite late demand surges, but some countries had surprisingly strong demand throughout the year. Some took opportunities of low operating rates in certain regions by maximizing their own to target exports. Will this remain, or change again as demand starts to recover?
This webinar looks at the vinyls industry in 2020 and gives NexantECA's outlook on supply and demand in the vinyls chain, covering ethylene dichloride (EDC) vinyl chloride monomer (VCM), and polyvinylchloride (PVC).
