Ethylene (2018 Program)

Commercial and developmental process technologies for the production of ethylene are presented.  Process coverage includes steam cracking, methanol to olefins, ethanol dehydration, and an evaluation of oxidative coupling of methane.  Production economics for these conventional and non-conventional technologies are included on a USGC, Middle East, Western Europe, and China basis.  Global and regional supply, demand, and trade for ethylene are also provided.
