Process technology and economics of oxo alcohol production are given: n-butanol processes (UCC/KPT MK IV, Celanese), 2-ethylhexanol (UCC/KPT MK IV and Celanese), mixed octenes (Dimersol), isononanol (classic cobalt), isodecanol (classic cobalt) and 2-propylheptanol process.
