Methyl Methacrylate (2006 Program)

The chemistry, process technology, and production economics for MMA are presented.  Emphasis is given to comparing the new Lucite Alpha process to isobutylene-based routes, the conventional acetone cyanohydrin process, and BASF’s ethylene-based process.
