Biorenewable Insights: Sustainable Natural Rubber (2021 Program)

This report analyzes the development in the production of sustainable natural rubber from alternative routes and plants. Relevant existing and under development technology/processes for extracting natural rubber from Hevea , guayule, and TKS are described. Hevea natural rubber comparative economics are presented and analyzed. This report covers existing global Hevea natural rubber plantation capacity and highlights the expected shift in natural rubber production centers as result of competing crops and increased plantations.
