Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) (2013 Program)

The process technologies and production economics for low density polyethylene (LDPE) are assessed.  Four tubular processes and four autoclave processes are reviewed and compared.  In addition, the cost of production economics of LDPE are compared to LLDPE economics.  Supply, demand and trade forecasts for LDPE for the U.S., Western Europe and Asia Pacific are also provided.
